Juan is commited to working diligently to the long-term well-being of his patients. He is passionate about preventive medicine and health promotion. He focuses his efforts on patient education and emphasizes patient-provider communication as an essential component of patient care.

Juan is originally from El Paso, TX where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at The University of Texas at El Paso. He continued his medical education in Dallas, TX where he obtained his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

When not in the clinic, Juan likes to travel, spend time with friends and family and explore Houston’s diverse food scene.
