Ann Marie Heikkinen, M.D.

Dr. Heikkinen’s medical focus is educating her patients and preventive medicine. She feels strongly that exercise should be a part of a healthy lifestyle.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Medical Association. She is board certified in Family Practice.

Dr. Heikkinen completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia with a B.S. in Biochemistry, and her medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. She completed her residency East Jefferson General Hospital, in Metairie, LA.

When away from the office, Dr. Heikkinen enjoys time with her husband and three children. She also enjoys exercising, reading, travel and boating.
